Summer has officially made its debut in New England. There's a larger than life feeling in the air that makes you want to just get outside and celebrate. That time of year when it seems like everyone comes alive with new energy, welcoming a warmth in the air after those cold winter months. Boating, beach days, hikes and lobster boils are the weekend norms. A swarm of cars retreating from the cities to find quainter vibes can be spotted on Friday afternoons and vast crowds retreating to find outdoor activities seem to take over cities throughout the region. It's apparent that summer in New England is a special season. One worthy of recognition.

Nantucket is located southeast of mainland Massachusetts. Tiny and quaint, this island has a ton to offer. Historically a whaling community, Nantucket has grown into one of the most well established tourist destinations, both nationally and internationally.
We first visited Nantucket seven years ago on our honeymoon and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with all of its enchanting offerings. With dreamy nautical views, cobblestone streets, five-star lodging and world-class dining, Nantucket has something to offer for everyone. Many choose to visit during the warmer summer months, but this post is a testimony to the festive charm that decorates the island during that beloved first weekend in December. Nestled into the Sierra Nevada mountains is a vast hidden treasure known as Lake Tahoe. Recognized as the second deepest lake in the nation, Lake Tahoe is recognized for many reasons including hosting world renown athletic events such as the Winter Olympics in 1960, welcoming famous names that claim this land as their stomping grounds like Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra and it's impressive landscape scenery that encompasses the entirety of the lake.
Regardless of what you may know Lake Tahoe for, one thing that can't be denied is it's picturesque views and beautiful, diverse landscape. Take a look at just a few images that will help you understand why we recommend that your next trip be at Lake Tahoe, especially this winter. Where & Why
On our recent fall California road trip we had the opportunity to witness some of the most scenic vistas in the US along the Pacific Coast Highway in Monterey County. We had done plenty of homework planning (check out more of our planning process here) our route and we found that the Monterey section of the PCH was known to be one of the prettiest, so we didn't want to miss out!
A couple of years ago I (Mo) had the amazing experience of being able to study abroad in the heart of Tuscany in the town of Siena, Italy. Really, this was the beginning of a love-affair that has yet to cease. I was "bit-by-the-bug" some may say. It was, for the first time, I had been struck with the passion that comes from recognizing how vast the world really is and how much wander there is in every single glance. I wanted to see more, learn more and experience more of what this world had to offer, and it all began with Italia!
One of the cool things that we like to capture about the places that we visit is the local flora. Every place is unique and there is just something magical about capturing the image of a breathtaking bloom or unique plant species from various parts of the world. We are not by any means botanist so chances are we won't be able to tell you the name of any of our featured plants.

The city of London is full of exceptional photo opportunities but sometimes so many options can be overwhelming. Here are five photos that, in our opinion, you simply cannot return home without. Now some of them may be typical but keep in mind that setup and timing play a huge role in getting that perfect photo and that is where WE come in.
