I'm Mo ... ...the dreamer! Just an average 30 year old, living the great life and dreaming to see the World that's right before my eyes. In the recent years, God has blessed me immensely! I graduated from college, got a job as an elementary school teacher (yes, I completed 17 years of schooling just to go back to a school building everyday), moved to a new town, and married the man of my dreams. What a fun adventure it has been! I have often been referred to as somewhat of a “homebody.” I love being home and I love being around familiar faces of friends and family that just make life a little bit more complete despite the chaos of the world. However, while I do love the comfort and completeness of my home, I am constantly feeling the tug for adventure. My wonderfully supportive, and just as adventurous husband, Josh and I found our home-base in Raleigh, North Carolina shortly after getting married, but have recently relocated to Cambridge, Massachusetts. We thrive off experiencing a new place, a new culture, a beautiful site, and new learning opportunities. I love having the opportunity to tell our adventures with our followers and having a creative outlet to share our photography, writing and experiences with you all. Thank you so much for the support and encouragement! ~ Mo |
and I'm Jo ...... the technical planner and quiet rambler who loves to see new places. The world is a vast place with countless cultures for those willing to experience it. One of the things I love most about traveling to other places is seeing how small but how big the world is. The smallness comes out in the ways that all humans are alike in their stride for purpose, food, shelter, and a better life for their offspring while the expanse of the world comes out in the different ways that people go about pursuing these things. I recommend traveling to everyone, whether its walking down the street, flying around the globe, or anything in-between it's all attainable with a little effort and planning. So take a look, maybe find some inspiration, and feel free to ask us any questions along the way. Enjoy. >> Jo |
In the past, fellow travel bloggers have been tremendous help when planning our next trip. So, we figured we could contribute to the traveling blog world as well. Our style for traveling has more of a locals attempt. While we always make sure to check off those bucket listers that just HAVE to be checked at least once in your life, the things we tend to get the most appreciation out of are those that we stumble upon. Hidden treasures tend to be what makes a place! Touristy traps are the appeal, while the local, hidden gems are the foundation.
On this blog you will find more buried wonders than exposed exhibits.
So, to the adventurers, ramblers, and fellow tourists, we hope you enjoy and gain insight about a place that you have, plan to, or are about to visit. If you have no desire to visit any of these places, I pray that you will open your mind to the beauties and rarities of the world and embrace them for what they have to offer.
So, Go! Adventure!
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
