8 Breakfast Stops in Raleigh, NC

They say that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we couldn't agree more! So, we compiled a list of a few of our favorite, hometown breakfast spots in Raleigh, NC.
Big Ed's
Big Ed's now has two locations in Raleigh but, all the long-time Big Ed lovers know that the first location (downtown) is truly the place you want to be. Get there early or you can count on standing in line. But, you won't mind because you will soon experience exceptional service and food! Try the Pancake (Just one will do! I promise).
Brigs
For all our North Raleigh friends, Briggs is a local favorite for breakfast. If you don't believe us just go wait in line on a Saturday morning.
The State Farmers Market Restaurant
If you are looking for some locally grown and raised options head on over to the restaurant at the State Farmers Market. It won't disappoint!
The Flying Biscuit
Crafted in 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia, The Flying Biscuit has become a very popular spot for southern comfort food especially among the Raleigh locals. The portions are large and it's a perfect spot to take the friends as they often have drink specials catering to the brunch crowd.
Jerry's Grill
They don't make them like this anymore! Stop in with a few of the other Raleigh breds and enjoy one of their delicious biscuits! Seating is limited so we recommend getting there early or making your decision by checking out the fullness of the parking lot before heading in.  Located off Whitaker Mill Rd.
Rise Biscuits
This is a great choice for that grab and go breakfast selection. Pick between some buttery biscuits or uniquely crafted donuts. Seating is only available outside so this would be an ideal choice if you were heading out and about and just wanted to pick something up to go.  We are biased towards the Cameron Village location. In our opinion it's the best.
Sola Cafe
A personal favorite, Sola is THE place to go for that morning cup of joe. The atmosphere is eclectic and cozy welcoming each and every guest from the second they walk through the door. To go with your morning coffee you can choose between one of their crafted pastry choices, miniature donuts, or other yummy, in-house treats.
Cafe' Carolina and Bakery
Known for their yummy baked goods, Cafe' Carolina is definitely a spot where everyone can find something they like. It can be a good option for that grab and go breakfast menu item OR a place to bring the family for a sit down dining experience.
