Located within the heart of a tiny island that is often featured, and that most have heard of, but may not have had the privilege of visiting, sits a treasure.
Recently renovated and upscaled, 76 Main is the perfect blend of modern chic mixed with historical Inn. 
Since beginning our travels we had daydreamed of that perfect, nautical inn. Engaging in conversation with the local owners while sipping coffee or lounging in an outdoor seat embracing the community culture. 76 main fulfilled these desires beyond any expectation. ​

From the moment we stepped off the bus and began our walk through the quaint, cobblestone streets of Nantucket, we were overwhelmed with the loveliness and quaintness that enveloped this community. Our expectations only escalated as we stepped up the front steps of the beautiful, white historical home located at 76 Main Street. 

It was beyond evident that this Inn hosted memories and history beyond what the decor and updates hid. The inside had been completely updated to a modern comfort. Complete with white robes and complimentary teas and coffees, the convenience of 76 Main could easily be overshadowed by the desire to stay inside all day. From the moment you step inside, the staff makes you feel like the most pampered family members.
While the Inn is magnificent, another perk of this charming Inn is the convenient location. Located within steps of the towns main street attractions we were able to walk everywhere we went and the majority of what we needed consisted of us going one or two blocks. If you desire to see other parts of the island it's simply a taxi or bus ride away. 

We happened to stay in Nantucket memorial weekend which hosts the islands annual Figawi boat race. This particular weekend the quaint, usually quiet island becomes a lively festival filled with excitement. 76 Main is the perfect location to escape from all the activity, while still being completely accessible when you're ready to return. 

We loved our stay at 76 Main so much that we have even returned to visit. So, if a beautiful, quaint, nautical town is what you're looking for in your next trip then Nantucket is your stop and 76 Main should be your number one lodging choice.
